Why Write?

I write to encourage

To help us step back from the ledge

I want to help you see that you are worth more.

You are, we are more, at the core.

I write to bring positivity,

when the opposite is all you can see.

I could just say, "think before you speak",

But compassion and peace are also what we should seek.

So for these reasons, I write, draw, paint and try,

These are my how, and these are my why.
